The small apparatus that is attached to the window frame / architrave or wall. The cleat can be made of various substances such as plastic, wood or metal. The cords from the blinds are securely wrapped around the cleat.
The cleats are used to comply with the AustralianCCC, as at 2010 a loose cord cannot form a loop 220mm or longer at a height of less than 1600mm above floor level.
