Colourful Curtains - Sure to brighten any room!

The environment of a room including its interior décor and furnishing does impact the mood of the occupants. A house can be made more appealing and inviting with a good choice of furnishing which includes the colour of walls, the placing of paintings, wall hangings and other decorative items, but also the window furnishings in the room. Traditionally, window curtains implied only heavy fabric curtains. Earthy and sophisticated colours for curtains and blinds in other rooms of a house may not quite suit the atmosphere of a young child’s room. While choosing the curtains for children’s rooms, it is a better idea to go for cheerful, bright or funky colours. Care should also be taken to avoid the use of very long curtains in children’s room, especially for very young kids – they may pull them down, accidentally trip over or spill colours on the curtain material!
