Shipping Policy of Blinds Warehouse

Delivery Periods

Blinds Warehouse have an arrangement with our courier companies to be able to deliver Ready Made blinds within 5-7 working days and 15-20 working days for Custom Made blinds. Please note that this period shall commence from the time we have confirmed the funds used to pay for your order have been cleared. These time frames exclude weekends and public holidays.

The delivery periods given above are an estimate based on our experience and history with our courier companies. Of course there may be external factors which impact on these such as Christmas closures or material shipment delays into our warehouse which are outside of our control. We shall endeavour to keep you notified if there is an event likely to impact on the delivery of your order. In the event that you have not received your order in the timeframe indicated, you are required to contact Blinds Warehouse immediately.

Methods & Conditions of Delivery

Blinds Warehouse have arrangements with selected courier companies and also use Australia Post were applicable to deliver our customers orders Australia wide. The delivery address provided by the customer and the size of the order will determine the method of delivery. Dependent upon your location from our warehouses, your order may be despatched using either road or air or a combination of both.

Orders will only be delivered to the address provided for in the order and as it appears on your Order Confirmation notification. This is known as the 'Contracted Address'. Blinds Warehouse will not 'On Ship' to another address once the order has been despatched from our warehouse. If your address is hard to find ie: a new estate or located in a remote location, any information we can provide to the courier on your behalf will minimise delays and you are asked to provide this information in the Special Instructions area on your order. Should the courier not be able to locate your address you will be notified by email.

Blinds Warehouse wish to advise that courier companies WILL NOT CALL PRIOR TO DELIVERY to confirm delivery times for your order despite Blinds Warehouse requesting this service on your behalf. In the event that there is no one there to collect your order, the courier company will leave a calling card with details of how to collect your order or arrange another delivery time. Should you agree to have your order left and not signed for, Blinds Warehouse shall not be held liable for goods delivered under these circumstances. You will be considered to be the owner of the goods once they have been delivered regardless of the arrangements you personally make with the courier company.

If your order is returned to Blinds Warehouse by the courier company for any reason, the order will not be re-despatched until new shipping charges have been paid by the customer to cover the cost of the resend. In this instance, Blinds Warehouse reserve the right to hold onto the order until such times as new shiping charges have been paid. If the customer does not wish to repay for the shipping re-despatch of the order and wishes to cancel the order, then Blinds Warehouse shall refund the cost of the order less the original shipping charges plus an administrative fee of $50-00. Should the total order be less than the cost of the shipping and administrative fee, then there will be no refund to the customer.
